Corrections Policy

Last updated 13 September 2026

We work to get our reporting right the first time. When we don't, we correct it as quickly as possible.

How to report an error

If you spot a factual error in one of our articles — a wrong score, an incorrect quote, a misattributed transfer, or anything else — please tell us via our Contact page or by emailing hello@beyondthefinalwhistle.com. Include a link to the article and a description of the error, and we'll look into it.

How we correct articles

Minor corrections (typos, formatting) are fixed without a note. Substantive corrections — anything that changes the meaning or accuracy of a published article, such as a factual error, a wrong name, or a misattributed statistic — are corrected in the article itself as soon as we've confirmed the fix.

Live scores and data

Live scores, fixtures and league tables are sourced from a third-party football data provider and can occasionally be delayed or briefly incorrect during a live match. These are usually corrected automatically as the provider's data updates, rather than through this corrections process.
