The England international has returned to the Toffees from Manchester City on another season-long loan, giving David Moyes a familiar attacking weapon following a dramatic conclusion to the summer transfer window.

For Grealish, this is more than another temporary move away from Manchester City. His first Everton spell offered signs that a different tactical environment could help restore the qualities that once made him one of the Premier League’s most exciting attackers.

What Does the Transfer Mean for Manchester City?
A second consecutive loan inevitably raises questions about Grealish’s long-term Manchester City future.
City confirm that Grealish has made 159 appearances and scored 17 goals for the club since arriving from Aston Villa.
But spending another full campaign away from the Etihad suggests he is no longer central to Guardiola’s plans.
City’s attack continues to change.
