Juventus have officially completed the signing of Jhon Lucumí from Bologna, giving Luciano Spalletti an experienced Serie A defender ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Colombian centre-back has signed a contract until June 30, 2030, and arrives after four impressive seasons with Bologna.
This may not be the loudest transfer of the summer, but it could prove to be one of Juventus’ smartest.
Lucumí already understands Italian football, has experience at the highest level and appears well suited to the type of football Spalletti wants Juventus to play.

Juventus officially confirmed the signing of Jhon Lucumí from Bologna on August 17.
According to the club’s official financial statement, Juventus will pay €19.5 million over three financial years, with additional ancillary costs of up to €0.6 million.
The agreement also contains performance-related bonuses worth a maximum of €2 million.
Lucumí has signed until June 2030.
